Investigate the Outdoors at New Ballwin Park

Get outside and investigate nature! Let our experienced instructor Jill Wider take you on an adventure you will not forget. Practice survival, get crafty, investigate the forest and start learning in the outdoors while having fun! All programs are designed with social distancing in mind, each participant gets their own equipment, and EVERYTHING is disinfected between classes.
Classes will meet at New Ballwin Park.

9 am - 12 pm OR 1 pm-4 pm
Ages 5-12

3/22 Shelter Building: Could you survive in the woods? Get your hands dirty and experiment building shelters and learning survival techniques in the woods.
3/23 Survival Fires: Learn what it takes to safely and effectively start your own fire. You won't want to miss this class as we cook s'mores and other treats with our fires!
3/24 Crafty Creations: Tie-dye, leatherwork, outdoor creations, and so much more! Try out all of our amazing outdoor crafts!
3/25 Tracks, Scat, and Forests!: Is that an animal track? What is scat? Learn about Missouri animals while exploring outdoors with these hands on experiences!
3/26 Full "STEAM" Ahead: Practice "STEAM" Concepts in the outdoors by building rafts, building bridges, breaking eggs and more!
