Metro West Fire Protection District S.T.A.R.S. Program

The Metro West Fire Protection District's has partnered with Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital as a local S.T.A.R.S. program. This program is designed to connect caregivers and emergency responders prior to an emergency by pre-establishing necessary information specific to the patient. This process will expedite critical care when seconds count. The S.T.A.R.S. program will assist Firefighter/Paramedics in providing the highest quality of care for children with significant developmental delays, those utilizing home healthcare equipment, or any atypical disease or syndrome.
