Join us for a special mini-camp at Willoughby Farm! Each week is filled with unique lessons and hands-on activities including hiking, trail walking, and scavenger hunts aligned with the theme of the week. This half-day camp operates Monday through Friday from 9am to 12pm for ages 9 to 12 years old.
Animal Week- June 17-21. This special camp will teach campers about domesticated animals such as pets and farm animals, and wild animals, focusing on insects, birds, and mammals. We will also discuss the many ways these animals contribute to our world, from pollinating plants and providing nutrition to bringing us comfort and how they provide for humans. Activities will include learning and helping with animal care at Willoughby Farm, a bug hunt, and a service dog demonstration.
Geek Week- June 24-28
Let your inner physicist out! This week will be filled with play, build, and explore how things work. Areas of discovery include, Light and Color, Water, Simple Machines, Energy, Magnets, Electricity, and Circuits.
Plant week- June 10-14
For the budding botanist in all of us! Campers will do a variety of activities each day related to plants, trees, and soil, covering Botany Basics, Plant Needs, Tree Biology, Gardening, and Composting.
