STL Fencing Club Beginner's Fencing Camp

Welcome to STLFC summer camp! We're thrilled you're giving us a chance to share our love of swords with you and your kids!!

Our Summer Beginner's Fencing Camp starts on June 3 and runs until June 28th, Mondays - Fridays, from 9:00am - 1:00pm. This is a one month long camp! Age 10+

All equipment is provided, though we do ask that you pack snacks, a light lunch, and a re-useable water bottle.

Meet the Coaches:

Coach Tony Romero who will be focusing on sharing his love of fencing with all the kids. Tony started fencing at Saint Louis University and has fallen in love with the sport! He joined STLFC in 2022 and began coaching beginner's fencing. Tony believes that fencing is a two way street - he has as much to teach the beginner's as the beginner's have to teach him. Tony is a member of USA Fencing, background checked, and safesport verified.

Coach Geneive Dodson is a teacher with the St. Louis City Public School and focuses on childhood development. She has been so excited for the camp that she has already came up with a binder of games, exercises, and music selections to go with it all. She might not be a fencer (yet), but we love her enthusiasm all the same! Geneive is a member USA Fencing, background checked, and safesport verified.
