Camp WeCanDu at Babler State Park

Camp WeCanDu at Babler State Park

Every year, Camp WeCanDu provides an opportunity for local youth with physical disabilities to fully participate in a week-long, traditional summer camp experience full of fun activities and friendship.
Children living with cerebral palsy, spinal cord injuries, visual impairments, and many other forms of physical disabilities come together at camp to create a fun and engaging social support system and discover natural abilities that stay with them for a lifetime.
Camp WeCanDu Activities include; archery, arts & crafts, campfires, carnival night, field trips, hand cycling, horseback riding, kayaking, messy Slip-n-Slide, rock climbing, swimming, talent show, tree climbing, and MUCH MORE!
Campers interested in attending camp MUST fill out a Camper Application which will open on February 15th. Completing the application does not guarantee a spot. The cost for 2022 Camp WeCanDu is $400, early-bird fee is $350. Camp applications close on April 11th and applicants will be notified on April 15th.
We highly encourage the child to be involved in a DASA sport session prior to camp in order to ensure that DASA is able to provide a successful camp experience for the camper.
