The Kirkwood Police Department and Kirkwood Parks/Recreation Department are once again teaming up this summer to reach out to Kirkwood and Oakland children on Fridays, beginning June 15th. We will go to the following parks on the scheduled dates to provide a HOT DOG lunch, play games with the children and converse with the parents. We feel this is a great way for the children to interact with the Police Department on a positive basis and for the children to know they can come to the Police for help.
New this year: Each week, the Kirkwood Library will be participating with books and stories for the kiddos.
Additionally, our good friends and Kirkwood’s own, The GymGuyz, will help the parents unwind with a FREE yoga class from 11:15 am-Noon.
