"Dangerous" Dan was great! He was very funny and entertaining. The kids really enjoyed it. He did a great job keeping the kids attention. One parent told us that her son is still talking about the party weeks after it happened! The parent said he had such a great time! My wife and I are very grateful that you made our daughter's party such a great success. Our daughter had a great time! Thank you!

FAQ
When do I pay?
We require a $125 non-refundable deposit at booking. The rest of the payment is due on the day of the party and will be handled by the Mad Scientist who comes. You can pay with check or by credit card.
+Do I need to provide anything?
We need a table in the front of the room. Card tables work great or larger tables work well too. We will also need access to water before and after the party and access to an electrical outlet. Please let us know if your party location does not have either of these. Mad about Blue requires that the room be able to darken.
+How far in advance do I need to book my party?
Our party schedule fills up quickly. We suggest you book well in advance to get the date and time you want. Generally, at least 4-6 weeks in advance is recommended.
+What times are your parties?
On Saturdays and Sundays, our standard booking times are 11am, 2pm, and 5pm. Weekday times may also be available upon request. Depending on what you book, a party can last 45-90 minutes. All times are subject to availability.
+What is the best space for our party?
We come to you! Most of our parties take place in families' homes. However, community centers and other rented locations work great as well. Depending on the party theme (and the weather!), our parties can be done indoors or outdoors.
+How much space do I need?
We need a table (which you provide) in the front of the room. The Mad Scientist needs room to walk around in front of the table. Then, there just needs to be enough room for the children to be seated and comfortable. Most of the time children are seated on the floor.
+Will this make my room messy? I mean you're making slime!
For parties indoors, we work hard to protect your space and keep you from having a mess to clean up! Our Mad Scientist will bring a plastic drop cloth to put on the floor when the kids are making slime.
+What do kids do at a Mad Science birthday party?
The Mad Scientist will engage children with amazing science demonstrations conducted with the help of your birthday child and guests. Such as: fitting an egg into an impossibly small space, seeing flash paper disappear and creating a small explosion in a film canister. Then everyone makes slime!
