The Eclipse returns this April, as does the Abra-Kid-Abra’s Magic of the Eclipse Show–a fun and educational experience preparing children for the stellar wonder that is a full Solar Eclipse.
Birthday Center Is Closed
But Abra is still open. We have loads of bookings, classes, and camps set for 2024. Yet I want to take a moment to say goodbye to the Abra Birthday Center:
Due to increased costs and rents Abra-Kid-Abra closed their Birthday Center in Webster Groves.
It has been a GREAT decade plus of birthday parties at our center. Thanks to all who have attended. For now, we will bring the same fun, minus the inflatables, to your locations around the region.
And more good news, the space is on its way to be a center for a regional kids sports league. Same service to the kids and community, but different type of magic.

Red Ribbon Week and other School Assemblies
2023 and 2024 allow the return of the Full School Assembly. Here important aspects of a schools community, such as Character Education, STEM reinforcement, and even social responsibilities such as anti-bullying and drug/alcohol awareness can reach all the students at one time. UKRAINE
The children of Ukraine need our help. Surprisingly our roots go back to Ukraine. Dan Davis, the owner of Abra-Kid-Abra, had a grandmother who left what is now Ukraine in 1904 and arrived in St. Louis just in time for the World’s Fair. More importantly, Abra-Kid-Abra’s first priority is always the safety and fun of children. That is why we suggest all the Abra-Kids out there, of all ages, send a donation to Save the Children–Ukraine.

Magic Shows
We have a couple main comedy magic shows, and a lot of magic shows for special occasions. Planning a holiday party? We have a holiday magic show. Cub scout banquet? We have a cub scout magic show. We have almost as many magic shows as there are days in the month! If you’d like to sit through them all, let us know and you’ll win a prize. If you want to see them all, let us know and we’ll make you a great deal!
Comedy Magician
All of our magic shows are comedy magic shows. We get your guests laughing and having a lot of fun. Sure, we wow them with amazing tricks. But first and foremost, we want to entertain your guests and provide them with a really fun experience.
In addition to magic shows, we offer a variety of other formats to enhance your event: strolling close-up magician, magic party favors, a magic workshop to teach kids magic they can perform, and a street magician format for fairs, festivals, and large events or open houses.
School Assembly Magician
Magic is a great vehicle to engage students’ attention and—while we have it—use different tricks to convey an educational or character message. Accordingly, we have developed several math magician programs, shows to excite kids about reading, and several character assemblies—Heroes Not Bullies, Winners Aren’t Users, and Pillars of Character. We present these programs at schools, libraries, and any other place in need of an educational or character magic show.
