Parks & Pavilions

Pavilion Rentals for 2024 dates are now open. Pavilions are open April through October.
To rent a pavilion please contact Shrewsbury Parks and Recreation at 314.647.1003. Pavilion Rentals may be cancelled or rescheduled with 48-hour notice or in cases of severe weather, for a full refund.

Park Information

Ackfeld Park
Ackfeld Park consists of a total of 6.8 acres of land. It is located at the intersection of Shrewsbury Avenue and Sutherland Ave. behind the Police and Fire Station. The park has a ball field and two tennis courts. A sand volleyball court is located east of the aquatic center parking lot.

Brinkop
Brinkop Park’s 3.4 acres are nestled in a beautiful residential area west of the intersection at Nottingham and Laurella. The park also has a playground, ball field, multi-purpose court, pavilion with electricity and restroom facility.

Brinkop Pavilion is available to rent for a daily rate of $60 for residents or $90 for non-residents.
Max seating capacity is 45 people.

Hartry Park
Hartry Park is the smallest park located in the City of Shrewsbury. The park is one acre of pure enjoyment and is located at 4100 Exeter Ave. There is a playground and a multi-purpose court for all to use.

Wehner Park & Odenwald Fields
Wehner Park is Shrewsbury’s largest park consisting of 31.8 acres. This park contains three ball fields, one soccer field, two pavilions with electricity, two playgrounds, and two tennis courts.
