    • Mother’s Day bookmarks
The gift of God’s word: All ladies are welcome to take home a Mother’s Day Bible bookmark May 11-12, as well as any congregation member who would enjoy one. Find them displayed in the church lobbies and gym.
    • Photo zone
“Say cheese!” For many, May 12 is a special day to celebrate those we love. We invite you to stop by the decorated backdrop in the east church lobby (facing the park) and capture a family photo to remember the day.
    • High school graduate recognition
Join us in recognizing our high school grads at the 11:00 a.m. Sanctuary worship service (in the gym) on May 12. We rejoice with our graduates and their families and look forward to celebrating this milestone as a congregation.
    • Mother's Day weekend food drive | May 11 & 12
Social Ministry will sponsor its annual food drive to benefit the food pantries we support. On Saturday evening, please place items on the designated table in the gym. On Sunday, tables will also be available for donations of food, cash, and checks. (No out-of-date items or food in glass containers please.) Thanks for helping us help others!
  • VOTERS' MEETING: May 19

    Sunday, May 19 | Noon | Gym

Please join us for a brief voters’ meeting to review and approve the fiscal year budget. A minimum of 75 attendees is required for a quorum, so the meeting counts! Preview meeting materials beginning May 9 on our website’s Member Portal > Rosters & Documents page. If you can’t attend, you can have another St. Paul’s member vote for you by proxy; link and instructions also on our website Member Portal.

  • CHURCH PICNIC: JUNE 2

    Sunday, June 2 • 175th Anniversary Picnic

Noon • Des Peres Park & K-8 School Campus

    Side Dish/Dessert/Volunteer Signup

It's our 175th anniversary, and it's cause to celebrate God's faithfulness to our congregation! St. Paul's church members and all school families (K-8, ECC, and PDO) are invited to join together for a good old-fashioned church picnic with a barbecue, potluck, games, and fellowship. Grilling meats and accoutrements, chips, and beverages will be provided. To bring a side dish or dessert, or to help at the event, please our picnic signup.  | “For the Lord is good; His steadfast love endures forever, His faithfulness to all generations." Psalm 100:5

  • VBS VolunteerING & SNACK DONATIONS

    Volunteer signup | “Scuba” VBS | June 10-14 | 9am-noon

Volunteer at VBS, where your time means the world to a child! Adults and teens (5th grade+) who volunteer early enjoy first pick of their favorite jobs or days. We’re flexible if your plans or available days change.  Volunteer by May 17 to guarantee a VBS staff t-shirt reserved in your size!

Camper registration | Please note that our student camper registration has reached capacity and is closed.

May is VBS snack collection month

Help make VBS "snack-tastic"! Consider adding some Teddy Grahams, Goldfish, Cheerios, Rold Gold Pretzels, or bags of mini marshmallows to your shopping cart (this year our wish list has been simplified to five items). Find collection bins in the church lobbies.

  • Wedding photo display: Submit by June 2

Did you know that 1,677 couples were married at St. Paul's from 1849–2023? If you — or your ancestors — tied the knot here, we look forward to featuring your wedding photo in a special 175th-anniversary  display on the weekend of June 8-9.

Please send or deliver to church a wedding picture of you and your spouse or your entire wedding party (or your ancestors'), to the attention of Dawn Thorburg by June 2. All photos will be returned and can be picked up after the June 9 late service, or at the church receptionist's desk the following week. Email Dawn Thorburg with questions.
