O'Fallon Safety Town is a nationally accredited safety program for children 4 ½ through 6 ½ years of age.
Under the guidance of police officers, a certified teacher, paramedics, firefighters, railroad police and trained volunteer staff, children experience 'real life' situations. In accordance with their age and maturity, children are taught to evaluate 'safe from unsafe' and how to react safely when confronted with dangerous situations. The program uses a simulated city layout, a classroom facility and an off campus field trip.
O'Fallon Safety Town is sponsored by the O'Fallon Police Department, V.F.W. Post 5077 and Ladies Auxiliary.

For this year's program, O'Fallon Kiwanis Club is going to provide a limited number of scholarships. These scholarships will allow a limited number of children to participate in the Safety Town Program who wouldn't be able to participate without this opportunity. These children will receive a slot in their selected session before registration opens to the public. Join our instructors for this active, week-long camp, and see how much fun it is to learn hip-hop and tumbling! Be sure to wear active clothing and jazz shoes, if you have them. On Friday at 11:30 a.m. students will showcase what they’ve learned

REGISTRATION STARTS MARCH 2nd @ 7AM FOR RESIDENTS OF O'FALLON AND MEMBERS OF THE RENAUD CENTER. REGISTRATION STARTS MARCH 18th @ 8AM FOR NON RESIDENTS. Register early for our popular Summer Day Camp program at the Krekel Civic Center. Each one-week session will have a new theme with fun activities, crafts, games, swimming at Alligators Creek, and exciting field trips. Campers will have fun in the kitchen, make crafts, play games, learn songs, go swimming and take a field trip or have the field trip come to us! Before and after-care will be available, too.
Registration is made on a first-come, first-served basis with a limited number of spots for each session. Please note, camp themes and field trips are subject to change without notice. Campers must be registered at least two weeks in advance, and sessions must be paid in full at that time. Registration closes when the session is full, or two weeks before camp starts, whichever comes first. When you register, we need your email address so we can send weekly updates about camp.
